Hello,
Got H1B this year via consultant,valid from Oct 1st to 2010. Applied for AOS(dervative) and got EAD, AP and I-485 receipt notice by Oct end. So I think my status is AOS now.
I haven't been put on project yet.
Planning to travel next month using AP.
On return I plan to find another job using EAD.
I wanted to know if and how using AP to re-enter effects H1B status.
Also will this "bench" period effect GC processing in anyway?

Also i would appreciate if gurus could suggest what documents to carry to show at POE, along with AP.

There has been no forward movement of the Employment cut-off dates for November. State Department explains that the reason for this is that it is still too early to see what impact the movement of the cut-off dates toward the end of FY-2007 may have on demand. Depending on the rate of demand being received from Citizenship and Immigration Services offices for adjustment of status cases, some forward movement of dates may be possible for December.

Hello All,
I am currently working for Employer A for the past 6 years and my current H1 is Expiring in May End 2010. MY employer says he will file the H1 in may starting. In the meantime I got an offer from a future employer B who applied for my H1 transfer in premium processing. We got an RFE and the new employer is working on that .
My question is that lets say After responding to RFE by my future employer B , god forbid say the H1 transfer is denied. Would this denial have any impact on the H1 Extension that my current employer A plans to file in couple of weeks using I-140 approved petition. Please advice ?

Hi,
I have been doing a lot of research about this online and have even heard from friends that if you transfer your H1 to H4 and apply again for H1, your new H1 application is not counted against the H1B cap. How true is it? Has some one done this before ? Is there any risk involved? Any help would be really appreciated.

Got another question for Nikon people - a friend sent his D300s in for repair. Nikon upgraded the firmware, and now he can't open the RAW (NEF) files in CS3. Any thoughts?

I know that the EAD card comes directly to the applicant and not to the attorney.

For how many years does the employer have to guarantee that it has funding to pay my salary? Or how does this thing work out. My employer has 300+ employees.
Any other requirements from the employer?

I see the following address in the I-485 form. But it is a PO Box address.

I think Fedex will not accept PO Box address. Is it true ? So, what is the correct address for sending I-485 and I-765 using Fedex Overnight ?

For applying green card...you don't need any special work visa like h1b etc.. What you need is a sponsorship for your greencard under EB2/EB3 categories. You can research more on that in this forum and also at immigration.com website.
