i have it on Nikon mount, and one of the samples i tested had a back focus issue. i just bought the one that didnt. Sigma is real good at fixing/replacing defective lenses

only for 2 months. You should ask a friend to monitor your mail. Sometimes USCIS just sends FP requests out of the blue. At least you will be able to call and reschedule the FP.

Guys, Due to all this mess up with dates I decided to file 485/EAD/AP myself and for my wife on 6/29; so filled up everything, attached copies, photos and what not and FedExed all to USICS on June 30 to hit them on 2nd July.
Now I see that by mistake I have put my SSN on my wife's 765. She has been always on H4, never had SSN.
1. What can be the consequence of this mistake?
2. Should I try to pull it back from USICS and submit again (if it's at all possible)

1) Wrap up the backlog and introduce enough visas to make all categories EB2/EB3 current for everyone.
2) Eliminate this nonsense of H1 visa stamp. A person should be able to apply for visa while remaining in the US.

I was on H1B until Feb 2009 and I applied for COS to H4 in Feb 2009. USCIS has received my COS application, and it is still pending with USCIS for 2 months now.
1. Can a new employer apply for a new cap-exempt H1B for me (technically a transfer, as I was on H1B for 2 years before)?
2. In that case, do I need to submit paystubs and W2s from when I last held H1B status?

I am a I-485 EB waiter and applied before August 18th. So I have to pay a fee fo 305 dollars. However when I went to check the I-131 instructions for e-filing, i could not find any information if we are eligible to e-file?

I am currently working on H1B. My wife is currently in India with approved I797 for H1B (starting Oct 07). We are debating whether to get H1 or H4 stamped on passport. (H4 is totally our decision and for H1 we need to depend on her company's schedule).
- Can she come to the US on H4 (lets say next month) and if and when she finds a job (lets say next year), can she switch to H1? Is there a time limit before H1 will become invalid?
- If she comes to the US on H4, are there any issues changing status to H1?
- Are there issues when she goes to India again to get H1 stamped?
- Is there a difference between the I797 approval notice if a person is out of US vs. in US? (I have read something about I-94. I thought I-94 is always attached to 797 approval notice).

October is usually a month where we see improvements as new visa numbers become available for a new fiscal year. Most categories showed forward movement though few jumps of more than a few months. The exception is the Mexico Family 1st category which jumps a year and a half. EB-3 is available again, but not set at a date particularly close. Most people will not be happy with the dates. Is it possible to movie from H1B to EDA (valid unitl Oct 2010), work part time on EAD to complete Master's degree and then move back to the same employer to continuing working full time on H1B?
(assuming current employer is willing to allow going part time)

Have anybody feeling the big difference between Texas and Nebraska service center processing? Texas is giving greencards and June filers most of them have got EAD and Advanced Paroles. Is immigrationvoice doing anything to escalate the situation.
