I thought A# is in I-140 approval notice.
It will still take many months for uscis to process our I-140 application.
I recieved my I-140 receipt notice finally from Nebraska Service Center, it does not have the A#, may be due to the fact that I belong to EB3 category.
As one of my friend who is in EB2 category has an A# on his receipt notice which he got yesterday from Texas Service Center.

Iam sorry to say that i could not navigate to certain forum postings and IV did not communicate that these are not availabe for Non - Donors.... Why this caste system?

I am so sorry that IV did not inform you about Donor forum. I will check with IV on why you were not notified earlier. This is clearly unacceptable. IV core should give up their jobs and should start going door to door to inform everyone about IV's goals, strategies and changes to policies.

They hushed up and approved my EAD in 20 days. Why ???? 'cos So they don't hit Jun'30 and give 2 years. They wanted to milk another 680 from me so they hushed up and sent me the 1 year EAD in 20 days.

People were very happy with the last USCIS announcement but we all forgot about pain of people who are stuck in years of backlog. Though some of those unfortunate may have used harsh or improper language, but they had all the right to express their feelings. We all talk about Gandhian philosophy, but we need to be more tolerant. Before we ask to ban anyone from our forum, please try to put yourself in their shoes.
Our fight is far from over, we should all fight for for in-justice made to people who are trapped in the bureaucracy.

It sucks! I just the card production ordered email this morning! Filed May 29th. Receipt date May 30. No LUDs until this morning and card production ordered today. What a waste of money... This is my wife's and still small hope that they won't approve mine until monday...

This sounds unfair. Because of the backlogs, you have waited 6 years. Now you got laid off and you lost everything. Would that be the situation if there was no backlog and you were able to get your green card within, say 2 or 4 years?
I think those government agencies should take responsibilities and compensate for your loss.

I am not sure but one thing we can see a lot of anti immigration conservatives are not doing too good at house.. so what does this mean.. immigration is an issue by the conservative talk shows...Lou Dobbs.. and people like them and not the gen US public ???

Please assist IV in this important initiative to bring DC's attention to our issues such as processing delays and delays due to retrogression. Who knows what will happen in future about immigration.. I just read that the senate is planning to come up with a commission that will control the legal immigrant limits...

everybody is quoting SFGate article can you prove the same , these ideas are addressed in article even kennedy says "Oh this bill will bring many issues of legals in to light " but not in numbers in CIR bill , if one reads the article he will think heaven is going to fall in CIR bill but reality is Its not heaven its hell as you the actual CIR.

You should be fine dont worry, just do it in time. I got my MTR approved in 7 weeks successfully on providing the required docs from new company.
If you have changed job after 180 days.
Just provide additional evidence about your new position and new company details. Make sure your new position matches your labor certification and I 140 requirements.
Your MTR should be approved after 7 weeks.

cases do not go through labor certification at all. Do professors have to go through "special handling" labor certification?
If you are right then it means that an advanced degree holder in STEM from a US school with 3 years of prior US experience will be able to apply for I-140 and I-485 right away.
