We applied on 8th Aug for AP; Got receipts with receipt date of 13th Sep from NSC. I got my AP approved on 14th Nov. but we are waiting on My wife's AP since. Haven't received it.
So we are planning to get our H1/H4 stamped and travel without AP. My Lawyer thinks it shouldn't be a problem

I'm new to immigration Voice. I've read abt this in immigration portal and understand that a group of people are leading this. I wish them all the best and i extend my full support. Also i heard that this group is collecting funds. Can someone please point me where would i contribute.

I'm not saying we don't have rights, but what you are asking are the internal workings of a government agency.
You can't even vote. You can't even just change employers without hassle. You can't even just leave the country and come without proper documents. You can't even apply for a student loan. You can be deported any time you have a problem. You can't even renew your driver's license without showin proof of proper residency.
Even with GC your rights are still not as good as a US citizen.
Yes we do have rights.
But the government is only answerable to a certain level. You cannot ask for information of the internal workings of a government. That's not going to happen.
We are the USCIS's customers. They wouldn't exist without us. We have a right to make sure that they are being run effectively and efficiently. They have a responsibility to be transparent in their operations, because without that transparency there can be no accountability.
I don't believe that asking about government processes is beyond our rights. Sure we may not be US citizens, but if an American was in my country being given the run-around by a government organization in my country, I would expect that my country would answer their questions too.

Ofcourse PD is considered for VISA numbers, not the RD. RD is good for portability issues like AC21/180 days rule.

I have EB3 Nob/04 with I40 approved and AOS in progress.
Apllied EB2 10 months ago and got labor (6 months prep + 3 months in filling) + I140 approved (in 2 days)
with prem processing.
I'm also in the same boat as others, not clear as to what one has to do for porting/interfilling, I will let the attorney decide if he/she needs to submit a request or it will be automatically linked to the current 485.
Please keep us updated on your progress which is more helpful than attorneys and SOPs followed by USCIS, thanks.

You're very observant. :) My husband depends on me to know our case. I'm H4 so all I do is read updates on immigration. I got addicted to IV! :D
I wonder what will happen with our cases. My husband has a PD Oct 2003, EB2 ROW, but thanks to PBEC, it got approved in Jan 2007. Our RD is March 2007, TSC, concurrent. Got AP in April and EAD in May. No LUD on 485 after FP, 04/25/2007.
One more question: How many wives are here? It looks like some guys would rather let this matter to the ladies to handle.:D

I hear you and for most part agree with you that USCIS - However bad they may seem - is still one of the best run government agencies...
No need for you to trash another country to make your point... We are all foreigners here and know what happens in rest of the world...

I just wanted to find out if anybody received email feedback from USCIS once they opened SR with USCIS? Do they even provide any feedback on SR???
I created the SR to check the status of my AP on Jan 8th and have bot heard anything back yet.
